How to reach STCC?

By Train and metro

The STCC is easily accessible by train. The nearest main train station is Lausanne Gare. To reach STCC from Lausanne Gare, you need to take the Metro M2 to Lausanne Flon, then the Metro M1 from Lausanne Flon to EPFL.

From Renens train station the Metro M1 will bring you to the SwissTech Convention Center. The M1 comes every 5 minutes and it will only take you 10 minutes to get to STCC.

Lausanne Transport Card

If you are staying in a Lausanne hotel, youth hostel, bed & breakfast or at a campsite where the tourist tax is applied, you are entitled to the Lausanne Transport Card. With this card, you can freely use all public transport (bus, train, metro) in Lausanne and its surroundings during your stay (maximum 15 days). Please note that stays in private accommodation are not eligible for this offer.

By Car

The SwissTech Convention Center is 2 minutes from the highway exit "Lausanne Sud, UNIL-EPFL". There are 400 public parking spaces which are a short walk to the STCC.

The nearest car park is the Parking EPFL - Swiss Tech Village (address: Rue Louis-Favre, 1024 Ecublens). It is 2 minutes' walk away from STCC. Capacity 80 places, price per day is CHF 30.

Other car park alternatives are:

• Parking EPFL Campus car park (address: Route Cantonale - Avenue Forel, Lausanne). It is 6 minute walk to the STCC. Capacity 150 places, price per day is of CHF 30.
• Parking P+R Bourdonnette (address: Route de Chavannes 17, Lausanne). You need to take the metro to get to STCC. The metro station is on the other side of the road. Take the Metro M1 direction to Renens-Gare and get off at 'EPFL' stop. Capacity 250 places, price per day is CHF 15.

By Plane

Lausanne is close to Geneva or Zurich airports both of which connect to 196 destinations worldwide.

Geneva airport is 45 minutes from Lausanne using public transportation or car. There are trains departing from Geneva Airport to Lausanne every 15 minutes and the train station is located in the airport.

Zurich airport is 2.5 hours away by train or car. There is also a train station in the airport and trains to Lausanne leave every 30 minutes.
