Where is the event?
AMLD EPFL 2025 will be held at the SwissTech Convention Center on the EPFL Campus in Lausanne, Switzerland. Participation is in person only. Recordings of the keynotes will be made available after the event.
What is the official language of the event?
English is the official language of the event.
Other services?
Free Wi-Fi will be available throughout the venue.
Food (lunches and coffee breaks) and beverages are included in the registration ticket and will be provided at the venue.
When will the registration open?
Registration will open in mid-October and early bird fees will be available until December 11, 2024.
Do you offer financial support to attend the event?
No, as a public and non-profit event, we cannot offer financial support to attendees. However, we are offering reduced-price tickets for students, academia, startups, non-profits, government and public authorities, as well as for EPFL staff, staff of EPFL innovation park companies, current EPFL Extension school learners and EPFL Alumni (contributing members only).
Can I pay by invoice or wire transfer?
No, payment can only be made by credit card.
How do I get an invoice for the ticket I purchased?
You will receive a purchase confirmation and receipt via email directly after registration. If needed, you can edit all the details on the invoice through a link in that order confirmation email.
Can I reassign a ticket?
In case you cannot attend the conference at all, a ticket holder can re-assign a ticket to another person until January 27, 2025. Click on either 'View Order' link from your 'Confirmation & Receipt' email or on the 'Change Details' link from the 'Ticket' confirmation email if the ticket was already assigned; click on 'View / Edit Ticket' and then 'Re-assign'.
After January 27, 2025, the badges are nominative and cannot be transferred to someone else.
How can I get an invitation letter for my visa?
Please send us an email at amld@epfl.ch after registering for the event. To issue the visa invitation letter, please provide us with the following information:
Full name as stated in passport / full home address (street & street number, zip code, city, country) / passport number / citizenship / passport issue date / passport expiry date / date of birth / gender.
If your visa gets rejected, we will cancel your ticket and refund you in full on the credit card used for the purchase. Please send us proof of visa rejection via email in such case.
